All fishing for trout is prohibited from September 15 toOctober 31.

In the period November 1 until April 30, all fishing for trout and grayling is prohibited in the river Glomma north of the Stai Bridge.
EXCEPTIONS:
In the river Glomma south of the Stai Bridge fishing from the riverbanks and on the ice is aloud in the period November 1 until April 30. Ice fishing is also aloud in area 3 and 6 and in Bjørsjøen, Fåfengtjern, Gråsjøen.
Fishing for pike and burbot is aloud at all times.

In the river Glomma minimum size for grayling and trout is 30 cm. Fish under minimum size shall be returned unhurt to the river.
EXCEPTIONS:
Minimum size applies to river Glomma only.

In Glomma north of Sundfloa bridge:
Maximum size for grayling: 40 cm.
Bag limit for grayling: Max 5 graylings per angler per day.
Minimum size for grayling removed.
All grayling longer than 40 cm are to be returned unharmed to the river.
OBS.:
Section 4 applies only to grayling caught in the river Glomma north of the Sundfloa bridge.
Maximum size and bag limit does not apply to trout. |

Use of tied-up equipment is not permitted (nets, closing nets, fish traps etc.) for trout fishing in rivers and streams.
All fishing with tied-up equipment in lakes is prohibited closer than 50 meters to river and stream outlet, and inlets.

Fishing with otter board, land tied hook(s) and all kind of fish traps are prohibited.
EXCEPTIONS:
When fishing for pike and burbot on the ice land tied hook, pike traps (scissors type) are permit. Fish traps are permitted for catching pike and burbot at all times. On the stretch from Lorentsstua to Spongfossen otter board is permitted.

All kind of fishing with live bait is prohibited.

8 |
Anglers under the age of 16 do not need a license.

9 |
If not otherwise stated, the license permits fishing with one rod from bank or shore for one person. Use of boats and belly-boats is prohibited.
EXCEPTION:
Boats and belly-boats are permitted in the river Glomma.

The license is personal and can not be handed over to a third party.

Please be aware of:
Some sections of the river are not covered by the license.
Violation of these rules will be reported to the authority affected.

All fish furnished with radio transmitter shall be returned unhurt to the river.
All tags from FLOY-taged fish shall be posted to: Fylkesmannen i Hedmark att: fiskeforvalteren, 2306 HAMAR, with information on where and when the fish was caught, and the length of the fish.
CATCH reporting - two parameters per fishing day:
- Length of the longest grayling per day (measured in mm)
- Catch Place (north or south of Sundfloa bridge = bridge to Koppang)
This is reported via SMS: 0047905 47 391
Type: Fish Date (ddmm), length (mm), N (North) or S (south).
Reports from several days may well be in the same sms - use a hyphen in between.The same applies if you have fished both north and south of Sundfloa bridge on the same day, separate reports with a hyphen.
Example: 1905, 425, N - 2006, 390, S sent to 905 47 391 It is then reported that you caught a grayling 42.5 cm long north of the Sundfloa bridge on May 19, and a grayling 39 cm long south of the Sundfloa bridge on June 20.
Please, be careful when traveling in the countryside. Do not litter, and be careful with fire. Do not travel on crop land.
In short: Leave only footprints.
